The Alliance for Disease Prevention and Response held a meeting that focused on a current public health challenge, the Monkeypox (MVP) outbreak, on August 17th. BP2C Executive Director Dr. Scott Ratzan was one of the experts who provided insights on addressing this threat.
Ratzan was joined by other experts in the field, including Dr. Inger Damon, MD, PhD, who is currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Science for the CDC 2022 Multi-National Monkeypox Response and Director of High-Consequence Pathogens and Pathology with the National Center for Emerging Zoonotic and Infectious Diseases, as well as Dr. Wafaa El-Sadr, MD, MPH, MPA, the founder of ICAP and part of the Pandemic Response Institute at Columbia University.
